Kalispell, MT – Central Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical is sponsoring the Riveting Rosie’s and participating in this year’s upcoming Fourth Annual Montana Dragon Boat Festival held on Flathead Lake in Lakeside, September 12th and 13th, 2015.
Racing for the second year, the Riveting Rosie’s dragon boat team is a group of Flathead Valley Mom’s digging in their paddles to raise money for Save a SisterTM. This breast cancer awareness initiative is an alliance among Kalispell Regional Healthcare, North Valley Hospital and the Flathead City-County Health Department. The collaborative goals are to promote breast cancer awareness by providing funds to improve women’s understanding, access for mammography screening, distribute educational materials and provide post-operative goods that are often not covered my medical insurance.
“We have all experienced a friend or family member that has battled breast cancer,” states Debbi Waldenberg, president of Central. “Sponsoring Riveting Rosie’s dragon boat team and participating in this year’s race, is an exciting and fun cultural event for Central to join in and help promote community awareness and support this worthy cause.”
The Montana Dragon Boat Festival is one of the top 10 largest such festival in the nation. The sport itself, is the eighth fastest growing sport in the world.
