– Have your ductwork professionally cleaned. Think about never dusting your home’s furniture! The same dust build-up and grime happens inside the ductwork of your heating and cooling system, and then when your system turns on, it filters this dust throughout your home. Have this done at least every five years.
– Anytime you smell gas, immediately turn off the gas to your home and call our local gas company to come out and check for leaks. This can be very dangerous and deadly. Recently a home in Salt Lake City exploded and an entire family of five was lost due to a gas leak from their furnace.
