Common Furnace Problems We Repair

Whatever is keeping your furnace from heating, we have the tools and the experience to find it and fix it:

  • No heat, or cold air blowing from the vents
  • Furnace short cycling or refusing to start
  • Igniter, pilot, or flame sensor failures
  • Blower motor that will not run, or runs constantly
  • Unusual noises, rattling, or burning smells
  • Thermostat or smart thermostat faults
  • Furnace tripping the breaker or shutting down on a safety limit

If a repair no longer makes sense, we will tell you plainly and walk you through the alternatives. We also handle furnace installation and replacement, heating maintenance, heat pumps, smart thermostats, and indoor air quality.

Furnace Repair Kalispell

With us, you don’t have to remember when your furnace was last serviced, what brand or model you have, or whether the warranty still covers the part that failed. We keep those details in your file, so when you call for a repair, our technician arrives already knowing your system instead of starting from scratch.

And because we handle heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical, one call can cover more than a furnace that won’t fire. You get one team, one schedule, and one invoice, with 24/7 phone support, same-day response on most repair calls, and emergency dispatch when the cold can’t wait. Flathead Valley winters bring sub-zero cold snaps and long stretches below freezing, so a fast, correct repair matters more here than in milder climates, and a furnace that keeps cycling or shutting down can be a safety concern, not just a comfort one. Most breakdowns we see trace back to a small fault caught too late, so after the fix we tell you what to watch for to keep it from happening again.

Chase was very good listing our options/costs for our central heating unit replacement. Chase was the estimator on this project and on Thursday he gave us 3 bids. We said yes to one of the bids that afternoon and today Matthew and Mike?, the installers, showed up and installed the new gear. My wife or our renters let them in this morning and by the time I got home from work late afternoon, everything had been installed. Matthew gave my wife and I a great walk-around of the units and a good walk through of the new generation thermostat- think WIFI. Very professional all from start to finish.
As always, Central provides exceptional service with knowledgeable, courteous and informative technicians. Thank you for sending Lee Wild to inspect and service my furnace, minisplit and AC. Lee was prompt, polite and professional. Thanks to Central, I have peace of mind that all equipment is fully operational as we head into winter.
Excellent customer service! Friendly and knowledgeable.
